Wuh Woh! Went to TSC for dog food and horse feed...NEW PICS FIRST POST

Well I went for dog and horse food, and ummmm raided the assorted bantams tank.

I think I got 2 sebrights and 4 cochins (I would love for a couple to be frizzles, but I doubt it) they're sooo tiny, my first Bantams, I may be addicted!! LOL I really want a couple of silkies, and I just found a lady that has all ages of them and all colors. Aaaaack!! Think I'll have hubby do a coup for my Red Stars and EEs and a seperate coop for my bantams.

So do I have breeds correct...and color thoughts, esp on what I'm pretty positive are cochins.

Cochin? Color?

And what I'm calling the triplets...think they'll be Eeny, Meeny, and Miney (maybe the other cochin can be Mo) The flash on the camera washed them out, so I took a pic of one in the container so you can see that it has like a bluish cast to saddle area and top of head. Are these guys splash color??

Here's what was chick #1, I really really thought I was going to lose this little one Saturday, I had to syringe some sugar water and some liquid mash to her. She's sooo tiny, my youngest son decided that's her name. She kept flipping herself over all Saturday and Sunday, and would get stuck on her back. I slept 5 feet from the chicks, so I could flip her back over if needed. She hasn't flipped over since Sunday night. *knock wood* and she's eating and drinking well.

Heres the chick that was chick #2. No problems at all to report with this one.

Chick #3 looks like I got a lil Millie. Cool!...no problems either

And the triplets...right now I can not tell these lil Porcelian D'Uccle buggers apart, I would imagine they will develop some diferences that will distinguish them from each other...HOPEFULLY it won't be by the gender! LOL They will be Eeney, Miney, and Mo...I don't wanna name any pet Meeney LOL Just sounds like it could turn out not goo! LOL They're doing great as well

I'll go ahead and add these 2 new ones, and update there pics when I update the rest.

That is an evil place during Chick Season

I went in a couple weeks ago and talked my husband into letting me buy 6 Gold Laced Wyandottes along with several ducks. I'm hatching bunches of eggs but I told him today that I saw they had assorted bantams (aww look honey....heh heh heh) and told him that I might have to pick some up to go with my other ones.

I think your triplets are Porcelain Mille Fleur. But I could be wrong. And I have the same problem...every time....so far I've been tempted into 4 Bronze Turkeys, 5 turken, and 5 Polish chicks.....along with the 60 or so half grown I already have and the 200 eggs in the incubator due to hatch this week. LOL.

But I LOVE poultry, and it's been years since I've been able to have any, due to the predators. But we got a guard dog, the sweetest Pit Bull on the planet, who shares my dislike of Raccoons, opossums, and coyotes eating my birds

Are those the same as Porcelain D'Uccle's? Cause if so ....yep the pics look identical to "the triplets"!

fyi:mille fleur is a color type not breed

Well...at least I got the sebrights right. LOL

I had read up on Cochins...guess I better go read up on the D'uccles. LOL

@paddock36...I was just in ours a couple days ago, and all the tanks were empty..no ducks, chicks, or rabbits. Walked in the store and heard the peeping right away this afternoon. And now to talk hubby into letting me get a couple silkies...I mean I might as well get it over with right? LOL Since I've already got lamps and containers out. Get ones the same age as these and it'll all be done at the same time. LOL
