WV BBS eggs and a cross of Brahma/Orp maybe!

Wait, you can't tell which eggs are the crosses before they hatch...can you?

On my part it would only be a guess after I had collected them that's why I say a maybe brahma/orp cross.

I tend to think the darker eggs are the Orps the creams the Brahmas....

If you do get a cross it will be a huge chicken.Hybrid crosses are always fast growing and usually thrive and look really neat.I have a young cockeral that is about 7 months old that is I hatched from someone elses egg's and he is actually blue and dark red with a brahma style pea comb.

Arabians, there is another thread on pg 6 of this section by Tuffoldhen selling these same eggs. Miss Prissy posted pics of a couple of these crosses that she got from Sandy. They really are pretty birds, and they also lay the big beautiful eggs that the pure BBS Orps lay. I hope I can get 1 to hatch. I would love to have a couple of those.

I've got some BBS from TuffOldHen and they are big and beautiful!

I got all three colors from her hatchlings! I don't have any of the crosses but they sound awesome.

I've got some in the bator right now due to hatch on the 31st. I candled a couple of days ago, and 10 of 14 are jumping around like crazy. So excited! C'mom babies!!

How old are yours, Rebecca?

I just put 16 in my bator on Friday..Due around the 13th. I'm actually hoping to get a cross or two!!! Can't wait to candle this Friday!!! AHHH the anticipation is killing me...
