I talked to you...hi...did you get your silkie roo from me?

If you were the one with the photo album of them dry (which was a great idea), then yes.

You are most welcome. My Speckled Sussex are some of our favs. They are such talkers and have to get right up on the wall to tell ya all about it. So glad they liked them. The little roo found a great new home too.

Are you happy with the blue laced reds?
Carol I have a few more of that Bwm hens chicks due to hatch if you want any.
I have people emailing me about the chicken stock and thanking us and if we still have anymore to sell.
Also they want to know when the next one is and that they can't wait.

Aww thank goodness, I felt bad leaving him there alone! I have one SS girl myself, love her. I told my hubby if his friend didn't want that breed (they really didn't know what kind the mom liked, just said speckled lol) that I would take them in a heartbeat lol. I am kicking myself for not buying those two little Orloff chicks today! Ugh! I really loved that momma you had!! Maybe at the next swap

I love our BLRW. They are huge and so pretty. A bit darker red than yours I think and great combs. Just hatched 9 out of 10 eggs from them today and got one little splash.

Thanks for the little Splash Marans too. Mia loves it like her own. Had it out on the lawn this afternoon. So cute. Yes, I've had several people emailing and pming me if I have any left too. Got home to a full hatcher, so YEP! Thanks so much for all you and Erin did to make Chickenstock a success. Appreciate ya.

Maybe I'll update my Chickenstock list tomorrow so people know what I still have. Can't believe I sold my pair of started Russian Orloff Bantams for $50.

Didn't really want to sell them, but the $$$ softens the pain.

Thanks again.

I'll have to stop letting Mia brood everyone elses chicks and have her start laying and setting on her own again. It was sad selling them, but they went to a nice home. She and Nick are our most fav chickens. So smart and sweet. She was so happy to get a new little baby from Tonya today. She came with 16 babies today and went home with 8. Gotta be a bit easier for her. Only 8 were really hers. She just thinks EVERY chick is hers. lol Tried to adopt a little 3 week old Silkie that got out of its brooder this afternoon. Gonna video her tomorrow.

I would like to encourage all swappers to become NPIP certified before next swap. With increasing popularity comes more scrutiny, and today the swap was visited by Animal Control, and the sheriff's department. I love these swaps and don't want to risk having them shut down because not every swapper had the simple paperwork. For everyone in WV, our area tester is great to work with. Just my thoughts....
