WV MD PA VA Chickenstock TSC Sat. September 25th

I have about 2 dozen royal palm turkeys I hatched... they're about a month old. and a whole mess of quail; jumbo coturnix, tudedos and texas a&m's.

I will also be bringing some rosecomb chick culls so, if anyone is looking for nice ones, I don't sell those until they are about 6-9 months of age. I may have a couple cochin chicks (not the right color for my program) I will also have gorgeous mille fleur patterned cochin pair. Their type is not so wonderful but, their color is spot on.

I could bring wheaten and black rosecomb eggs if anyone is interested in hatching. I do believe I am finally finished hatching.

I might try to get 2.I'll let you know.

I was planning on keeping a few. I hatched a bunch of northeasterns earlier this year and, unfortunately lost all but one to who knows what. No one was living here but we were coming here fairly often to feed. I think predators were taking over. Since we moved in, I did see a hawk carry away a rosecomb juvie the other day. I screamed and chased it all the way to the end of the driveway before it dropped it. I knew it was too late for the bird but, still didn't want that hawk to get accustomed to a free meal here. Im keeping them up now... and will probably have to til late Winter as migrating hawks will just keep coming now.

Anyway, I have not seen evidence of anything else... did smell a skunk two nights ago

man, I really missed that country air. So, yeah, I will be eating these guys... maybe keep a pair for breeding. Rusty

Yep I know what you are saying about Hawks. See them pick (sorry) kittens right away from the mom. We now have a (now Get This!) Bald Eagle flying over our field. No free range chickens for me. It would be all you can eat buffets for the wildlife.
I know you've been moving and all that fun stuff, but at the last swap I forgot to look at the drawing you made for me to look at for a sign for my farm. No rush or anything I just remebered myself.
Glad to have you back. It has been slow here.

I can't make this Chickenstock -- it will be the first I've missed. I really need 2 bantam hens. I have 3 right now and none of them are laying (2 are too young and the older one has gone broody). If anyone has two ladies they could sell me directly I could come pick them up on any weekend but the 25th. I'm in Harpers Ferry, WV. My direct email is [email protected]. Thanks so much.

I will be bringing some guineas. I bought them for the same thing! To eat all the stink bugs they can find! And I have a whole lot of them here! They are 9 days old today!
