WV PA MD VA Chickenstock in Martinsburg, WV. Sat. April 25th 10 -2

Hey everyone, I spoke with the NPIP guy today and he wanted me to clarify with everyone that if you are already NPIP certified you cannot buy any birds that do not come from a certified flock or you will lose your certification.

Also, you do not need to be certified to sell birds here but if you are coming from out of state, you will need proof of AI (avian influenza) testing no more than 10 days prior to swap meet.

Still waiting to hear back from management about the day.

Along with fowl, anything poultry related is good to sell; chicken crafts, chicken equip, etc. but no chicken feed or anything that could compete with what TSC sells.

If you cannot wait to go chicken crazy, there is a show in Bel-Air, MD. that a bunch of us Bycers are attending. I'll be showing some birds as well as having some cochins for sale. It is called the Susquehanna Poultry Club show and there is a thread on this forum that gives more detail. It's on the 22nd of March.

I just heard back from the TSC manager and he gave us the Ok. Im working on flyers now. If anyone could help pass them out, please let me know. I can email you the flyer and you can print them out then take them to feed stores, bulletin boards in banks, grocery stores, and convenience stores and anywhere else you can think of.

Im bringing 15 or so dozen farm eggs to sell but I'd be happy to wait and sell them once everyone else's are gone. I think we'll need a lot more.

We NEED started pullet or laying hens. Everyone will be looking for those and sitting hens like silkies and cochins.

Roosters, fancy bantams, pigeons, quail (Kaylee), waterfowl and anything else with wings... and bunnies

I will be happy to pass them out in our area.

I am planning on bringing some month old or less chicks, maybe I could part with one or two splash orpingtons that have feathered out and I would be happy to bring SLW pullets and roo. The only thing is...they are all bare-backed!

Well, they will know they're fertile!!! hhahaahha

Pm me your email addy and I'll send the flyer over to you... Let me know what you think... if I should add anything else.

Providing I get my npip test scheduled on time, here is what I may have...chicks less than a month or two of :
Assorted phoenix colors from wildwill's really goergeous stock
Banty Cochins might be lemon blue, birchen or something else
Banty brown red ameracaunas
Pair of banty polish, two months

There is a slim possibility I might want to part with some modern game bantams, diff colors

I will only have limited numbers since they are all eggs I'm having or had shipped from breeders.

Yes I will put up fliers, email me!

Edited cuz posted from a phone keyboard
