Crowing
I'll try to get pictures when my husband comes home. Can't hold a chicken and take pics with my ipad.
It will also help me get a better look.

Yes, they are all the same age. Got them as fuzzy chicks. You are correct in identifying the comb types. It is rare to have a Wyandotte with a single comb but it can happen, especially if the genetics are not great(mixed breed). Are all those birds the same age though? Because that is a fair amount of development and red in those combs for 7 1/2 weeks…I would watch closely for other male traits, although wyandottes can sometimes be trickier to distinguish. (When I had a couple I was sure that one was a boy practically until she suddenly laid an egg due to the huge difference in comb sizes)
It does. Thank you. Most of the time the comb wasn't pink so to me it looked like she didn't have one. It looked like a bald patch with dry skin, if that makes sense.View attachment 3075577View attachment 3075578
This is my almost 7week blue laced red Wyandotte and comb if that helps.
I comb over Wyandotte posts for hours and hours. Then I go stare at mine for hours and hours. It’s fun, frustrating, and fascinating to see the development. It does. Thank you. Single combs pop up in hatchery Wyandottes quite often.7 1/2 weeks old
