no 2 has a single comb. not a wyandotte.
Some hatcheries apparently use heterozygous roosters in their breeding programs, so a single comb is possible.
would that be pure breed? I am not familiar with this breed but SOP calls for a rose comb.

SO lovely!! And how are their personalities? In our backyard days our sweetest hens were Columbian Wyandottes. Now we have these 7 SLW boys & girls (among 24 chickens total), and even though all of our chickens are loveable and fun, the Wyandottes seem to have more obnoxious moments than the others...
Thanks, Gina! How old are they? Ours are almost 8 weeks. My SLW cockerels have lacing already (on their breast, anyway), and they just started crowing a week ago.
I love them, lots of funny little moments. They hate wild birds and chase them off. They are very curious with my english bulldog, they come right up to her face and stare or follow her around. Big personalities, but in a good way. My sweetest hens are the olive eggers.SO lovely!! And how are their personalities? In our backyard days our sweetest hens were Columbian Wyandottes.
