Wyoming Chicken Lover!

Hey everyone I am in Cody, WY. I don't see too many of us on here from WY
Hello from Cody!!
I rarely view this forum but have subscribed to it, finally figured out how to do that LOL.
Anyway I live in Cody , and raise Silkies, Lav Ameraucanas, Lav Orpingtons and Blue Laced Red wyandottes. I also have the barnyard mix that I started out with 2 years ago.

Oohhh, I love Lav Ameraucanas

, I have some Lav Ameraucanas shipped eggs coming. I hope they arrive safely and then hatch.

We had hail and tornados a couple of days ago. (North of Cheyenne) The hail killed 3 of my 7week old Marans.

I had hatched them myself, and they all came from really nice dark eggs and am still reeling from their loss. Apparently they didn’t make it back to the coop in time, or under the rabbit hutches quickly enough like the others did. The hail started suddenly; otherwise they probably would have had “enough sense to come in from the rain”
