Did anyone make it to Wheatland to the swap today? I was going to take some of my pullets down there, but we ended up getting up and working on the pole barn instead.

I had every intention of going. Then my son decided to scream from midnight till 4am and than wake up at 6am as if he'd slept all night. Needless to say I did nothing but lay on the couch.

My boys 2 & 3 yrs old will be showing (Peewee) Two of our Golden Laced Wyandottes....Winnie and Dottie....and we are working on putting something to show the chickens that hatched like 3 months ago at the Nursing Home at the Fremont County fair...
We've got 1 Wheaten EE, 1 Lavender EE, 1 mix Lavender & Wheaten EE, 4 OE's, 1 Splash Maran, 4 Copper Maran's, 2 Look like black Spitzenhauben Bantie's to show..

I have one little white silkie, it is about 5 weeks old, super cute. Hoping it is a girl. I also have a cute little cross between a showgirl and a cochin, called a Shizzle. It is for sure a boy. I call him Vegas. He was supposed to be a showgirl, but the seller sent an egg from her Shizzle pen by accident. Not sure if I will keep him or not. Depends on his personality. I have already seen him trying to mount my little silkie. LOL

That picture is from over a week ago...it seems like overnight this week his comb and wattles went from that pink in the picture to RED. For sure a boy there. I do think he is cute though.

I also have the incubator full again with a variety of breeds to replenish my laying flock. Anyone else incubating still?

Definitely Interesting combo lol, after staring at it for a while I decided it was cute!
I am putting some quail eggs , silkies and lav ameraucanas in , hopefully we don't have a harsh winter
