Wyoming Unite!!!!

Hello everyone from Wyoming! I do not currently have any birds myself as I am a student in Casper and left all my chickens back home with my family in ID. I do have an incubator though and I love hatching if anyone would like to collaborate!

Hello :frow

I'm not in need of any hatching services, but it's nice to have you here!

First of the year.

There was enough for a small bowlful. I put the water on to boil, went to the garden and picked them. Rinsed them and snapped the ends off. Steamed them for 3 minutes. Bathed them in butter with a sprinkle of salt & pepper.

Mmmm, mmmm good.

Nice to have the fresh asparagus! A couple of weeks ago I roasted some and it was so good.

I got the garden rototilled yesterday and my onion plants showed up today. I planted the onion plants this afternoon so the gardening season has begun.

I moved 39 turkey eggs and 23 chicken eggs to the hatcher this evening.

I have one turkey hen that appears to be going broody so I gave her a dozen eggs today. Another turkey hen is upset because her sister stole her nest. The thief is still on that nest tonight. Then there is another that I believe has her own hidden nest but I have not located it yet.
