Moved my 4 week old chick to their coop 3 days ago. They have spent two successful nights in their coop with the heat lamp. I really think they are loving it

I loaded them direct.

You are very likely on a limited direct photo posting due to your low post count.

Go to your profile page. Scroll down to Your Photos. Click on the Upload Photos link. Select Album Type - Personal. You can select an album Category or leave it the default miscellaneous. Click Create a New Album. Give the album a name. Album description is optional.

Click on Submit. Click on Upload files. After choosing the files to be uploaded you will be brought back to the same page where you then have to click on Upload in the blue selection box. This will upload your photos to the new album you created and give you the option of naming or adding a comment to each photo and the option of selecting which photo will be the album cover. Be sure to save before leaving the page.

Once the photos are in your album you will be able to post them into messages via the "mountain" icon which will show "My Recent Photos" It should get you around the limited photo uploads directly to a post for people with low post counts.

Well, mine have been off heat for over a week now, and the portal doors to the brooder have been opened during the day and closed up at night. Until today. The portals are now open and we have full integration with the flock. Not bad for chicks that are just 5 weeks and another group of 6 that are just over 4 weeks old. I'm a little late...but it went as smoothly as always.

Did we lose anyone during the transition? I know that @Blooie is still active and that @N F C made it back but is very busy working. @red horse ranch made an appearance.

I have some Evans Bali cherry trees that are loaded with cherries and the Yellow Chokecherries are also loaded. Got the garden finished planting today. The yellow roses and the Woods Roses are blooming making it very aromatic outside.

I have been feasting on the mushrooms and asparagus. The volunteer lettuce is ready to become salads. Still have chicks and turkey poults to get rid of and the first batch of guinea keets have hatched.

Hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful weather.
