Wyoming Unite!!!!

Hello fellow Wyomingites! I am currently looking for anyone in the Northern area of Wyoming, towards Cody/Greybull, that has some chickens for sale, I would prefer baby chicks or pullets, and possibly a rooster. I am looking to add about 6 chickens to my flock without paying for the crazy small order shipping prices from hatcheries! If anyone could direct me in the right direction for chicks it would be greatly appreciated!

Check with your local feed stores as they often have bulletin boards where the locals may post ads. Do a search on Craigslist - Wyoming since the whole state is included in one section. Check the ads in the local newspaper.

Hi Lottiee :welcome

Hope you find the birds you're looking for!

Thank you all so much! I have found a few ads but they are all too far away but I'll definitely keep looking! If I don't find anything, does anyone know of any small order hatcheries besides MyPetChicken and Meyers?

Along with purslane, these are trying to take over my garden.

Thank you.

I bought a packet of seeds years ago and just sprinkled them on the ground. They are supposed to be a perennial but I have only ever had one come back up the second year but... They are now everywhere coming up from the prolific seeds they produce and they do bloom the same year they come up. The ones growing in poor "soil" only get about a foot tall while the ones growing in the good stuff easily reach 3' and taller.

The bees love them.

I was really surprised when the ones here bloomed...amazing how anything that tall stands up with all the wind we get. Maybe a window well is good protection :p
