My crabapple tree started blooming yesterday.

Snow is coming back! Nothing but rain, snow and cold temps for the next week. Sure hope this doesn't hurt all the blooming trees.

Current forecast here is for cooler temperatures with lows around 30°F and a little rain.

My potatoes are starting to come up. The radishes are up. There are lots of volunteer dill, lettuce, Johnny Jump Ups and hollyhocks coming up.

The tomato plants are starting to bloom in the greenhouse and cucumbers have germinated.

My crabapple tree is in full bloom. I have never had it bloom without the blossoms ending up covered in snow. I was hoping this year would be the first since it is blooming so late.

Sometime during the night a steady rain started. There is 0.21 inches down so far.

I need to go out and deal with an egg eating skunk this morning. I am not looking forward to it.

I am up to 0.5" of moisture. It had switched to a mix of rain and snow but looks like it is just a few rain drops right now. The high was 49°F at midnight and was now down to 36°F at 11:18. It is all the way back up to 37°F now.
