When I first spotted it, I was thinking it might be some kind of salamander.

I have had a turkey hen missing for 5 days now. While hunting for her, I managed to find this girl trying to become an unauthorized incubator.

While searching for the missing hen, I passed by within 2' of her daily. I essentially looked directly at her daily without being able to see her. I am pretty sure that I even watered her while hand watering the plants in the area. The only reason I was able to find her today was because she made a slight movement while I was looking at her location with my peripheral vision.

They're amazing hiders. You'd think with their light color they'd really stand out, but they don't. I had a missing one, too. She finally showed up yesterday with a black poult. Must be from that pretty TCMB tom.

It will either be a Mottled Black or a Tri-Color Mottled Black.
