ours is going up this weekend as long as i can get tidy, housework has gone to pot a bit since i started working fulltime. if it wasnt for the grandkids id just have the tree but ive always put a xmas scene up its grown a bit each year houses that were my nans and little people and a church I let the kids put out all the trees and people which of course they need to move around every time they come. I cant ever remember a xmas without those houses and church, Im 46 and i asked my mum when did my nan first get them she cant remember if it was just before i was born or my sister. the little village is a family tradition now Mums of courses is all fancy with street lights and posh pot houses, me and my sis usually do 2 each one for the kids and the pot one with the more expensive characters and we add something new each year i really should start now lol
