Hi, These 2 chickens were found in the middle of a busy intersection. The rescuers looked for houses, farms, etc and couldn't find their family. So they took them home. They still had some chick feathers about 3 weeks ago. They were given to me yesterday. They look similiar to my 3 month Rhode Island Reds, but feel heavier & have yellow feet. Can you help me identify their breed? Thanks!

They do look like the picture of the White Rocks. Now the comb would be different if they were Rhode Island Whites or a Leghorn, right? They are docile, but the roo took over the rest of the flock (4 Rhode Island Reds) right away.
One thing I thought of, because of the timing, was that maybe someone had gotten them as chicks for Easter & then didn't want them any more.
Thanks for all your help-the Chick Whisperer

That would be my guess as well, yours look a hair older than my white rocks. But I would have to say they look exactly like mine.

Looks like dinner! If they are Cornish X they aren't meant to get too old. They eat, poop and then meet their fate.
I am a mean old hen, but I wouldn't get attached to them.
