agreed. and the fact that she doesn't follow into the social norms seems to intimidate people.

I often say if I had her body, I'd be running around in weird outfits too, well, because I could! Yes, I do think some of the stuff she does is strange, but I think it's neat that she's brave enough to do them!

And besides, my daughter actually likes her too, so it gives us something in common

I also remember her saying that she was always an odd kid growing up. She had trouble fitting in and one of the reasons she does the things she does is because she wants to show people that it is ok to be who you are. You shouldn't change just because others think you are different. I thought that was an amazing thing to say.

I think it's great that people are able to learn something positive from Lady Gaga or any entertainer for that matter. And kudos for your teacher thinking they can reach students through popular music. I hope you guys have fun with the project and learn something wonderful about yourselves.

Oh my comment is nice compared to what my 17 year old son would say.

Oh and I have said plenty of kind things here. But that has nothing to do with Lady Gaga being a dingbat.

I really enjoy her music. She is definitely different, but I like that. What gives people the right to say what is "normal" anyway? I think it is great that the teacher is using something that kids relate to to teach them.
