I know a lady from Indiana who bought the same eggs from the same seller and got NOTHING to hatch,,I tried to warn them early on before the auction ended but they tried and didn't succeed.

Hmmm, I think this must be some kind of fundraiser for a live bird (2 year old), not eggs. However, in the FWIW department, I betcha I have a brother to that bird, from that daddy, and I hatched him, along with an unrelated egg from a different pen, from a batch of eggs I had shipped from those folks two years ago... It worked out really well for me. So many things can go wrong with shipping eggs, it's always dicey, but I'm eggstatic with my birds and have no complaints at all.

Anyone want to do one of those raffles for green peafowl? [IMG]

I think one year at a UPA convention they had a door prize that was a pair of green peafowl. If only I was there! [IMG]

The price for the ticket sounds like a good deal for sure. I think everyone with space for that peacock should get a ticket or tickets if they want him. This seems like a pretty sweet deal to me.

Definitely let me know if Rocking BAB ever donates some green peafowl for a raffle. [IMG]

Really they haven't? Wow you would think people who have been waiting to get peafowl would be all over this.

Don't they do these raffles yearly now?

They mentioned in the comments on FB that they would like to make it monthly or bimonthly, I would think that would depend on how many raffle tickets get sold. I asked how many sold so far, yesterday they said about 135. They are planning to do the drawing on the 31st I think...
