I have noticed that my chickens are opening their mouths frequently. Can somebody tell me if this is normal, or something is wrong?

They do it like once every 5 minutes for about 30 seconds. I will send a video tomorrow.

Is it possible that they are hot? I tried to give them water, but they wouldn't drink it.
Edit-Maybe it is because it was in a different container than usual.

If they're thirsty, they'll drink. I am really leaning toward crop adjusting. What are you feeding them?

Corn lacks protein, it's a starchy fatty grain. My dad used to feed our chickens corn all the time, & they were more fat then meat.
Corn is actually supposed to be given as an occasional treat.
