We've been putting off building a second small coop, but decided to go ahead last week because it looked like we were going to be staying here for another couple of years. We just finished the coop, when my SO gets a call . . . looks like he'll be getting the job after all.
Good news! Yay! Cheers! Celebrations! And of course . . . oh my goodness, how on earth are we going to fit these coops in with everything else when we move? I'm sure not leaving it after I just built it!
That'll teach us to jump the gun on pampering our chickens!

* I'm trying to figure out how to put together something to move Miss Chook in now, so I have an idea what your going through. So far, all I have come up with is a sort of cross between a cage and a baby bassinet/mini-playpen. Either that or a big plastic bin with holes cut in the top. I'd really like something that'll fold flat when not in use, but doubt I'll have time to put it together, even should I figure it out.
