DH and good friend started from the bottom after a while and worked their way up

The finished driveway 7 hours later!

Wow Bec! We got 22 inches in Wilmington. Looks like you got a lot more and your hubby and friend really got a workout!

We are all feeling it now!!! Hubby and I did about 1/2 way where I took the first pic, then his friend got here (got stuck at the end of the driveway) and dh walked to the bottom of the driveway and they started shoveling up to where hubby and I stopped. Our driveway is about 300 feet, so we did all of our shoveling for the next few years! We started at about 9am, took a lunch break from about 11-12 then got to it until 4. We have some more to do, but that can wait for now. DH also shoveled the back deck and a path across the yard to the barn and coops. Then he shoveled in front of the barn to the horses could get out AND he shoveled paths to my coops so I could feed and water everyone!
