I think I'd be in tears, I got misty-eyed the first time I candled and saw the embryo dancing around in the egg. That tiny little shadow just dancing around...

The two that started hatching yesterday have only made a little progress.... but, when I checked them at 8:00 this morning I saw I had another one starting to hatch:

Then, I checked again at 11:45, and that egg had already hatched! Here's the chickie

Isn't that a verrrrry fast hatch?

Okay, the first two to pip had made very little progress, so using the sticky topic here in the "Incubating & Hatching Eggs" section, I hand-hatched them both.
The Large one, I think is going to be fine - BTW, that chick was wayyyyy to big for it's egg, which I think, is why it had so much trouble hatching.
The Bantam one... well, it has not even chirped for the past hour or more. I am not sure if it is going to make it, it is so incredibly weak
