, YAY!!! I have a silkie egg pipping!!!!

LOL, I can definitely see that! Whats weird is that everything I have hatched is all pretty different from each other. So far!

The two chicks that I am sure are going to turn out whitish when they feather in are SO different, the one silvery and the other reddish blonde. I wonder if the reddish one will stay red and the other one will turn white??
Okay, I dont have a lot of experience in figuring what they are going to feather out as!

The silvery ones that I've had usually end up splash. One of my Silkie/EE crosses hatched yesterday. She's all light yellow fluff w/ a poofy head and cheeks. I'll have to post a pic soon!

Mine were pretty well feathered when I got them, but I would think the reddish one would be more of a buff color. The OEGB and dutch chicks that I have hatched that have been silver or grey colored when they hatched have turned out to be splashes. Do you know what color silkies the people had that you got the eggs off of?

Erg. My daughter quickly took them so they arent the best plus being taken with my camera phone.
I did send them, hopefully I can get some better ones in the next day or so.
She said I interupted her nap.

At least she did it.Sigh. Though the way they turned out, maybe I just should have.

So far we named the chicks,(and dang. I should have put that on the pics. today is NOT my day!)
Poof,Blondie,Nugget,Evil Bird(my daughter named him, he is the biggest chick and has quite an attitude towards the others!) The silvery one isnt named yet, she wanted to think about it.
LOL, we take turns naming,so this last one is hers to bestow a name on.
