Our first ever batch of peeps !! They all hatched except one. They are blrw, buff orps, silkies, and leghorns. To add to the newbie challenge, we were cheap enough to use a Little Giant incubator ! They work ok if you use the dry incubation method. I also would check on the temp. about 3 x a day. I'm a stay at home mom, so that was easy for me to do ! I also ran a small electric heater at night, as we live in a drafty ole farm house and it cools down considerably at night. It was so much fun for our children to watch those peeps push out of their shells, and slowly dry into a cute ball of fuzz. I set more eggs today !! It's addictive !
