HELP HELP!!!!!! I just weighed her and she just lost 0.2 pounds overnight. She was at 4.8 pounds yesterday and today is 4.6 pounds. I don't think it is the diet.

It is Diet that caused this in the first place.....I will help....Put her on a grower or ever unmedicated Chick feed for a couple of weeks.....If you begin to add a buch of fillers to her diet, she will die......


I can help if you want help or Medicate as others will tell you too?

What are fillers to you? I have adult chicken pellet feed. Should I just do this?

OK. Just gave yogurt to her and she loved it. Also added vinegar to water.

Okay.....Let me explain Chicken Nutrition to you........

Chickens have Very complex dietary needs in order to thrive and produce eggs......Balanced nutrition is a must with layers......Meaning...Pre-made diets that are age appropriate, granite grit and Oyster shell for layers in two separate bowls.....
Water at all times........

Chickens can not be fed all the snacks/treats/scraps/veggies etc....Once a week toss out 1 tablespoon per bird in snacks, that equals 5%......Free range a couple hours a day......

Sick Birds require water as the most important thing....Regular food.....This yogurt
thing should be stopped...Chickens can not process dairy products.....A joke in my mind!........


I know Chicken nutrition....I have never had a Bird with sour crop. impacted crop or a Hen with Egg binding in all my years with Birds....I was taught well.......
