get them on that balanced diet and monitor them, i would suggest taking pictures every few days and if you have a bad memory like me... pull out a not pad and jot down notes on any changes you see physical and behavior. also wouldn't hurt to weigh them as well periodically
you said they seemed small but with the diet change you should see some growth and its never a bad idea to monitor that by weighing them.

Mixing the poultry booster with each feed (3 times a day)?The grit should be left out to eat whenever they want it, not put in the food. Poultry Booster is sprinkled on the food with the scoop that comes with it. Mix one scoop 1/3 ounce with each pound of feed. These directions are on the label. You can sprinkle a few drops of vegetable oil and mix into it to get it to stick to the feed.
