Yellow Jackets

I like that yellow jacket trap. Going to have to make me some of those.

I once put the hose of a shop vac right outside a yellow jacket nest entrance and left it running. It was close enough to the hole to suck them up going in and coming out.

Update:

So tue night we waited until the birds and the bees were asleep and dumped a pot of boiling water on the hive and ran. It seems like it worked and there are no more yellow jackets in the run.
