Yellow runny poop... ?

There is one chicken that has runny brown poop in my flock and I can identify it. I had two other big chickens die from swollen bums two days ago

I took a picture of one of them. Should I feed the whole flock medicated feed? Also my neighbor said they always feed their chicks medicated feed to start should I be doing that?

As of this morning she's eating and drinking well, but I found something new, a lash egg (pictures below)

I've read the article (here) written by Vet Annika McKillop explaining what they are and how they come to be. It's good that I've been giving her the antibiotic as it sounds like the source was bacterial. The article doesn't mention the yellow poop, which is still happening. I wonder if blackhead and Salpingitis are related in any way?
The prognosis for Salpingitis isn't promising and I may be considering a necropsy at the state vet.
Any thoughts?

UPDATE: The state vet responded to my questions. With that information I'll be cleaning the nest boxes as it is during laying that bacteria can enter the body. I do clean the coop and pen every day, but not the nest boxes. The hen wouldn't be expected to make a full and permanent recovery so I will make arrangements to cull her fairly soon. I don't want her to have to go through this again and then die slowly, it would be unkind.
One of my hens laid a lash egg couple of times in January when she was debilitated with a frost bite/gangrene on her foot. I gave her antibiotics for two weeks. Her foot healed and then fell off in 4 weeks, hasn't laid a lash egg since then. However from laying every single day before she fell sick, she only lays once a week and in the week she tries laying more than once, she lays a shell-less egg. I see her eating a lot of oyster shells but apparently its not helping her. Plus the shells are so porous that when I set them in an incubator, all the albumin evaporated by Day 7 candling.

I still have to keep her because my son loves her and she is doing ok otherwise, even after losing her whole foot. The only bad thing is, she can't run away from the rooster anymore.

You may want to start a new thread with your question, you'll probably get more responses.

I am entering this thread here, because my hen's poop looks exactly like this. We only have three 18 months old hens and our sweet Ameraucana was taken by a bob cat three weeks ago. Very traumatizing for all of us. Our BO alpha hen Tweety had already started molting but progressed into a very hard molt, she looked as if she had holes in her coat. The new feathers are coming back but for the last two days she has had runny yellow green poop. When running around the yard she acts perky, foraging in the dirt. But she is spending more time inside with me and has no interest in food. We are very much into natural medicine and I got her to peck a few drops of colloidal silver off of my hand. Within minutes her comb had a brighter color. I am reading this thread and am getting a little dizzy with all the drugs being suggested, however I would do anything to save my chicken. Today she seems perky again but no interest in food or drink. I brewed oregano tea, a natural antibiotic but both hens seem to not like it. I am replacing all water with it so they have no choice. I may have to force Tweety to take in more liquids. The one thing she did like was liquid B12, maybe because of its red color. Any suggestions will be much appreciated .

So sorry for your loss; it is always hard to lose one. What I learned about runny yellow poop from these pages and from my own experience is that it is very often worms and they can eventually kill the chicken. In my own experience the natural remedies did not work, especially once it had progressed to the yellow poop stage. I took some poop samples to the vet and discovered they had two kinds of worms so administered ivermectin and all was well. Now I make sure I give them piperazine every 3-4 months, which is not as hard on them, but controls the roundworms. Good luck with yours.

Thank you so much for your reply. If nothing has changed by tomorrow I will take her poop to the vet. Today she only took the silver and B12 but her last poop actually looked better, not normal yet but closer to original colors. If the silver did the trick I will be sharing the good news. We use it to treat cold, wounds and any type of infection and it does work on humans. Keeping fingers crossed for a quick recovery.:)

Have you tried to feed her scrambled eggs, live meal worms, or mashed up sweet potato? Mine will usually eat some of this even if they wont eat anything else... Good luck at the vet.

So glad to report that Tweety was back to being herself this morning. She started the day with tater tots and went back to eating her organic layer feed. Her poop went from liquid to solid and is now only mildly yellow. Nonetheless I took a sample to the vet to see if there are parasites. In the meantime I think that the colloidal silver and liquid B12 really did the trick. If you want to know more about these natural remedies feel free to contact me.

I came out today to find one of my 11 week old chicks to have this poop. She is acting fine buy has been opening her beak like yawning and shaking her head a little. Still eating fine. I thought the stringing stiff was worms at first but it want it just fell apart. Help any suggestions. She is with a bunch of other chicks ranging from 7-12 weeks.
