Yes - Mystery TSC Ducklings! Breed Guesses?

It's difficult to put a finger on it, but there's just something about them - maybe that look in their eyes, almost like they'd speak if they could. Looking forward to seeing pics of your new babies soon!

Very cool! I really like the Buffs' coloring (when they feather out), and they seem like good layers, too. Anything in particular stand out about yours - personality, laying? I haven't had this breed before, but am always looking to "broaden my horizons". Am tickled to have gotten such an interesting group.

You really did get a nice group. Well My Buffs are the talkers and they love to talk. More so than the Runners although I am pretty sure the Buffs think they are Runners since they all hatched together. I had 4 hatch two went to a new home at 3 days old. Its so comical to watch the group of 7 take off up the hill with the Buffs right there with them. That is a very close knit group. Very much need each other much more than my Muscovy's they are more independent. It's nice to have the difference and to be able to enjoy them both.

Aww, I can just imagine how cute it is to watch your Buffs try to keep up with your Runners. Those Runners are so aptly named!

Good to know about them being talkers. The two in my group seem on the quiet side for now. The smaller one never seems to relax - it's always in the move and a bit on the hyper side. I jokingly call it my "wind up duck".

They change so much we actually thought the two Buffs were Runners the eggs got mislabeled so I really thought they were Fawn and white Runners. I am glad they were Buffs and now I can get my Fawn an white. Not sure how my little drake Snoop is going to appreciate having 3 more girls the 6 he has now sure keep him busy lol. My Muscovy pays no mind the any of the Runners or Buffs. Are you providing B3 in any form? Might help your little Buffs relax it’s good for the nervous system beside the legs and brain function actually b complex liquid.

I bet Snoop will be happy to have some additional girls. ;) I noticed the same - Muscovy kept to their own in my flock, too.

All the ducklings get nutritional yeast in their food, but the little wind up duck just runs around like it's slightly over-caffeinated, nonetheless. It's a cute little creature, with an almost purplish bill and more tan coloration overall than the older one. Will be interesting to see how it feathers out!

Currently trying to tame these two by keeping them next to my hand while I'm on my computer, they're trying to murder me with their little bites lmao
