You must of been one expensive kid, Sarah.....I've been to the ER innumerable times. Once, if I recall correctly, they weren't sure if I was going to live- maybe it was a concussion? I've cut fingers off, scarred my face, broken ankles, broken arms, passed out, half-drowned, gotten frostbite, impaled my foot with a knife, had my eye bleed, hooked my face, arms, and butt with copious fishing hooks, driven nails into my feet by stepping on them, gashed up my arm so badly there wasn't much skin on it, gotten whooping cough, had a 105'F fever....
Yes. All the time. Like what put the notion in their head they'd be safer from predators IN THE WOODS than in their open coop.

With a knife and a lawnmower. My one finger didn't scar, but where the stitches are on my right thumb, it's obvious.

WOW As in the whole finger?? That must've hurt so bad.
I was 11 with the lawnmower incident and 9 with the knife.... The lawnmower jammed while I was cutting grass and I made the mistake of removing the jammed stick.....
