Sooo...yeah..title says it all! We thought we knew what kind of duckling this little one was, but NOPE! Still sitting on the fence. We thought Runner....buuut I dunno. ?? Her big boy/girl feathers are coming in and they'r a gray (maybe blue-ish) color? She/he is losing her bib of light yellow that she had and the gray-ish feathers are coming in. Now I'm handing it over to all of you great folks! :) Whatever he/she is...I'm absolutely in love, especially after losing our sweet Pickles. <3 They aren't the best pics. Ya know how phone cams can be! ;)

My guess would be a crested blue swedish

Thanks Kevin! I had a small inkling that that might be the case. The little one does have the lighter colored beak that I've seen in some pictures and videos. I know it's hard to tell in the pics, but right now it almost has a little green hue to it. Beans, as we call him/her, is changing at such a fast rate. I'm sure I'll be posting pics in a week or two...but just to show off. I'm somewhat weird about wanting to know the breed we have....just part of the hobby I guess. More importantly, the only thing I care about is that we've at least got one female between the two new ones as we only have one female right now that is just over a year old. I definitely wouldn't want 2 to 1 ratio of male and female!! Of course, that would give me a reason to add to our flock! LOL I believe I did hear it take its first attempt at a "quack" tho! So I'm crossing my fingers! Whatever Beans is...we still love the goofy duckling just the same. ;)

It's no problem at all. I hope you it ends up being a female for you!
