Crap ... I need to get an incubator running to use for hatching. I've got hatch dates all over the place in incubators with turners. That ain't gonna work.
 
Even with big inc. i caant get enough eggs to fill it. i cant get almost 300 eggs at one time. so i have different hatch days too.

Far from it, lol! My day has revolved around the animals!

I've spent the day moving some critters into a new 30-gallon tank that we got. The lady saw me checking out a 10G at the Salvation Army, and offered a 30G for $15. So the salamander sitting in a 10G got an upgrade, along with two garter snakes and a tree frog that were in a 5G.

Also looked up more information about goose incubation. All three of my eggs are showing signs of development, so now I just have to make sure they make it to hatch! But all three have detached air cells, so I'm not sure how that will go.

Also got some more pine shavings at TSC and put those around the main chicken pen. It smells so much better now! And I got a tarp for the dog kennel/silkie pen, plus new hardware for the door on this dumpster coop my sister got. More cat food, more dog food, more chicken and chick feed to last me until next payday... and my sister brings home a "full-blooded, free, young, Yorkie female!" from "down the road"... mmmhmmm. But the **** thing likes to chase tennis balls, and has already torn up the one that my CAT favored. It's kept my nephew busy though!

Figured out the f**king pack-n-play and got it set up for brooding chicks. I'll move it outside tomorrow to replace the pen that the older babies are in right now, since they are pretty much sitting on gravel that is almost as big as they are. After work tomorrow, I'll probably replace the hardware on the coop, add the roof, turn it around so the door isn't up against the wall (durrr) and move the silkies into it. Then I'll put the tarp over the dog kennel/pen, and move the Sumatras in there tomorrow night. That will leave the EE's with a few other mixed breeds and other roos with no hens, until the screen Arbor comes in and the EE's move out.

Sold some Sumatra hatching eggs for $50 too. That means as soon as the money moves from Paypal to my bank, I'll be buying goose diapers so these things COULD be inside if they needed to be (or if my nieces actually managed to talk my sister into having a house goose).

And then just now I found out that my chicken diapers actually shipped before my **** screen arbor, which is just weird. Hand-made items shipping before something from Amazon? HA!

But I return to work tomorrow. Only for an hour or two, so the rest of the time will AGAIN be spent with animals. For now though, it's BED TIME! LOL!
 
The problem with hand-turning is things like overnight field trips with kids/school. That and laziness. LOL
