Thanks. :) I believe I have already been in contact with him actually. But there is a breeder about ten min from me also and she has most of what I want. Grey is quite the drive from here. But, I may eventually go visit there also, just for fun.

Gray would be about 2 1/2 hours from her.
 
Grrr...I thought it was supposed to be NICE all weekend! I bought paint and waterproofing and was going to paint the new little coop this weekend.

Oh well at least it isn't freezing.

My stepfather was determined to have a farm full of animals but somehow, his plan was thwarted. We had horses, chickens, ducks, geese, goats and mules. We made multiple trips to Trade Day and it was always so much fun. Trade Day had everything and it was HUGE! You could literally get just about any animal you were looking for. However, that was 30 years ago. I haven't been in a very long time but my sister and a couple of BIL's still live in the area. I could contact them if y'all want and find out if the livestock selection is still as broad. Besides livestock, it used to have tons of other stuff to buy...we never went home empty handed. If it's still as big as it used to be, it's a great way to spend a Saturday.

My dad talks about that place, but he hasn't been in years. Please find the days & times too, dad said he thought they did it Sundays too. I'd love to check it out!

Amen to not freezing. The chickens are loving this rain. They look so funny all sopping wet :lol:

I'm in Jackson (High Falls area), @abmaddox1981 is in Griffin, and @debgal is in Griffin.

Any idea what color his Ameraucana eggs might be according to the Ameraucana Egg Color Chart?
