YO GEORGIANS! :)

I have a Sumatra chick that is undergoing "therapy" now. He/she (I'm going to use he for now) just hatched yesterday morning but apparently isn't walking. He wants to put his feet up on his head a lot, instead of down on the ground. So he's carrying his legs WAY too far forward.

I'm trying to see if I can keep stretching his legs backwards and almost straight out behind him, to get the muscles to sit correctly, but we'll see.

Well I ordered 10. Should keep at least a half dozen. As long as both roos don't die we should be okay... I wish they handled shipping better. She's also getting 15 rarest of rare assortment and her freebie rare.

I ordered 30 chicks, plus the free rare breed. They shipped 34 and 3 died - so that wasn't awful. It's just that half of my dorkings died. And one salmon faverolle - but they had thrown in an extra of those. I should have ordered more dorkings. Guess I know for next time!

I'm actually interested in straight run. But I don't know if "limited" means they actually have any available?
It does, but only in small numbers - like onesies and twosies. The pure white polish I just ordered was in "limited" quantities, but I only ordered one.

Hmmm. I am suspecting I am out of luck unless I order hatching eggs. Or if one of my two ends up being a male.

Minimum order to my zip code for the rest of this month is 6 large-fowl chicks. They DO have silver-gray dorkings, but in limited numbers. HOWEVER, it tells you exactly how many they have available when you mouse-over the delivery date.

THIS WEEK, they have 5 females and 7 males available. So you could order the 5 females and one male (or maybe two). April 7th is 8 and 15, respectively.

Chillin' with my peeps in the North Georgia Mountains.
