Thanks for the compliments and interest in my boys. Gosh, we do seem to all be far away from each other. Nancy, I don't have any plans to be out your way, but who knows? Plans may change so I'll keep you in mind. Doesn't anybody need a little mountain R&R?

Although, sometimes R&R means just getting to sit in a comfy chair in the house, not having to do anything.
 
Does anyone have a EE/Ameraucana/Araucana Rooster at least 6 months old in the south GA? My rooster is overbreeding my hens and they are lossing the feathers on thier backs. At first, it was just 1 hen, and I thought it was because she was the first EE to lay. But I've noticed over the past few days all the other (10) hens have missing or broken feathers on their backs.
 
Farmer chef I have one running loose that is gorgeous and also one in a grow out area! PM me if you have a way to get him/them and I'll make the deal of the century!

Y'all have a wonderful weekend. Heading to our third farmers market of the weekend. Grateful for the sales, they see us through the winter!!! as well as all our canned goods andfall garden.

Still praying for rain....Hope you'll join us on that. Come see us when you can we love company!

You would so love that bread and it's so good for you. full of farm products and naturally wholesome but oh so good!... Here's a photo of me playing "secret chef" at last week's cotton mill farmers market. It's one of my favorite pictures... Not Julia child but just showing how to stir fry in the season using seasonal vegetables only!
