Hi!

If anyone has any maran chicks in the 'bator (or could set some for me), I am looking for some anywhere relatively near Fayetteville! I am looking for blue copper marans preferably, and splash... and a few black copper, too. I'd really like to find them all from one place... and from a really really healthy flock, as I had to cull our entire flock after MG exposure and start over from scratch!

Just let me know where you are and how much per chick..... I'm wanting to be back up with laying hens in the Spring!!

Thanks!
Holly

I am in Jackson,ga and could set them for you. We split the chicks between us. I also have some BCM hens over a black birchen rooster. These will produce 50% BCM and 50% Birchen.

I think I might be able to get some from bargain.... (*crossing fingers*)... but, I'm pm'ing you!

Are you planning on a trip?? I am trying to figure out what day I can come up and get her leghorn flock.

I am just trying to figure out what she has and when I could get them... but the poor girl is SWAMPED lately! I was able to get in touch with her after my post... so I'm hoping it works out! My 4 kids and I could really use a homeschool field trip!

(actually... I have heard it's awesome out there, but have never been.... maybe the hybrid homeschool class I started this year should all go to pick them up?! We have 5 third graders that love to learn! www.inmanhybridschool.blogspot.com)

Anyone near the CSRA with a Delaware Roo? I have 2 hens I want to breed. I cannot have a roo because I live in the city. I just want one for studding until I get some fertalized eggs. What is the norm for this?
