So NONE of the dorking eggs I purchased are developing! Ugh. All the air cells were detached so I'm not surprised. Stupid USPS. I have another dozen coming at the end of the month, hopefully I'll have better luck.

Went out to the souk today to get tomatoes and walked the bird isle. Sad to see the conditions of many animals here. One man had stacks of crates with at least 10 chickens in each, horrible conditions selling them for what is about .75 cents each. I felt the only blessing was most of them would be on dinner tables by evening but its sad seeing lack of care towards animals. Few I past even had water in the cages. So many are just a source of food but still deserve humane treatment. Today I saw baby frizzles, silkies and assorted mixed birds. My chicken friend could not go with me but I was able to ask prices....35 bucks for a polish baby! I told her and she thinks it may have been the price for all in the box so hope she can go with me next time. 5 bucks is average for 2mo baby, 1.75 to 3 for 1wk old. I went to the electrical store today asking for a hot lamp in my best arabic he finally got what I needed figured out made me one and gave it to me for free. I also found a company who is supplying Libya with chickens and emailed them Ihope they can help me locate a local supplier. Even some of the fancy chickens are poor quality. So much needs changing but its step by step and good examples. Plus a relative said he may have found us a house with land, not much but its a start. Hope you all dont get too much rain, and again anyone from Larens or Tattnall counties? Trying to link up with family or cousins if I can. Least they know the family.

I decided to see if I can sell Runner Duck hatching duck eggs. Anyone interested? Pick up only. 6 for $15

These guys were young in the picture and just out of the lake
