YO GEORGIANS! :)

Yes, her name is Ann and I have talked to her several times.  She doesn't sell chicks until they are at least a week old so that she can make sure they are healthy.  She also vaccinates them.  She sexes the chickens for you so you get want.  She also uses Gro-gel to get the chicks off to a great start.  She bands each chick as they hatch to make sure you get the kind of chick/eggs you want.  I am excited about these little babies and the eggs I am going to incubate!

I've talked with her many times before, including issues with someone else. She's got good birds though, and definitely healthy.

Were these issues about her using photos that weren't hers from the internet to advertise her birds and eggs? I think I heard that before. I don't think she does that anymore. Anyway, I saw her eggs, she had a huge basket full she had gathered that day. They are beautiful and her chickens are healthy and well cared for.

Guys! Guess what. Remember hubby made the nipple waterers a couple weekends ago.. Well I never felt good enough to take out the main source of water for my layers (decided to concentrate on getting them switched over first)..

A couple evenings ago I picked up Olive, my most tame and curious girl. Stuck her beak to it a couple times and put her down.

Well tonight I went out, and they were all gathered at the door. Their regular waterer was empty. So I took the new waterer out, let them watch me fill it and bring it back into the run.. Of course they were curious- so I started flicking water on them. Olive finally came up and started attacking the nipples! :lau

Then my other black star came up and drank too!! My red star tried to join in the fun and Olive pecked her in the eye. :gig

Anyway, it was so neat seeing them figure it out, and entertaining too. I feel much better knowing two of them for sure know what to do, that the others will follow.

That is all. :)

I was of course kidding

Just a little joke my friends used to like to make when I'd stalk Mama duck for eggs lol.

That stinks about them looking yucky though. Maybe you'll be surprised.
Actually, some snakes will lay with chicken eggs IF there are no eggs there for them to eat.
