I love German Wire haired pointers, we were going to get one, but my mom is allergic so we got porties. I would still love to get one though, very pretty dogs. You shouldn't feel too bad, my neighbors dog got one of her rabbits, 2 or 3 chickens and all 3 of her ducks.

RIR definitely looks like a roo, bottom I'm not sure. Looks like my EE who is a hen.

We got our German pointer in Elijay at a rescue. Love him, even though he killed a hen :(

The bird on the bottom is suppose to be an ameracuana, says the breeder, but you are not the first to say it looks like an EE. I really don't want to give it back if it's a hen.
 
Why does my momma hen freak out when I add 5 week old chicks to her day old chick but doesnt flinch when the big brahmas pecks through her bedding for shells and fallen food?
