YES! Watermelon and cantaloupe! Sometimes I put the rinds in the freezer and then give it to them! I also do the grass clippings.When I mow my grass, I dump the bags of grass clippings in the coop, they LOVE it!! You can also use wheat straw or kitchen scraps. Mine also love watermelon rinds and chopped up cucumbers.
We have something like 60 eggs now. I'm cooking eggs as much as two people can eat but they just keep coming. How do you get started selling eggs? Our chicks are going to be at laying age in mid September so that will mean even more eggs.
