YO GEORGIANS! :)

For those of you who are doing multiple hatches, I assume you guys are using two incubators? I understand the process, just wanted to know if you bought two of the same kind of incubators or do you go with a cheaper basic one for the lockdown/hatching one? DH said I might add 'chick hatching' to our menu for our Lodge rentals!!! How fun would that be.....for ME! Or do you use something different. Let me know!! Thanks.

Oh! I forgot to tell you....I finally have the contact person for the Brinsea wearhouse in FL. I will be going to my daughters in FL after the big chicken event. Don't know how to work this, but if you guys send me a PM and tell me exactly what you are needing, I will talk to the guy and see what kind of prices I can get. Then, I could either pick up the items or have them sent to you, or whatever we can work out. So let me know.

At home they all go in one (cabinet) ... at the schools, each location has their own.

No, I am talking about putting eggs in at different times in the same incubator. Like staggering them a week. Then at lockdown, you just take those that are due for lockdown out and put them into another incubator for hatching. The others stay in the first incubator until they are due for lockdown. If I stagger them a week apart, the hatching ones will be hatched and that incubator will be cleaned and ready for the next weeks lockdown. Question is: Can I use a cheapy incubator if they will just be in lockdown for 3 days?

See, I just keep feeding the incubator at home ... I end up with eggs at all different stages at once.

Before the cabinet incubator days, I did use two different incubators but they were both hova bators. Sorry, guess I am no help. (Shut up, Robo.)

Anne guarantees the sex of her chicks, they are vaccinated against Merkes and she won't sell newborns. She makes sure the chicks are healthy before she sells them. I have been very happy with the chicks I got from her.
Yep! She's awesome!

I ADORE the chicks I got from her as well :)

I quarantined for safety, but they've had no issues at all. And I got to meet the parents of my chicks. Their daddy is GORGEOUS!

How old are they. Can't see hackle or saddle feathers on my tiny phone display. Do they have any? Could just be pullets at point of lay.
They where born around Halloween the buffs and black orphantins that I hatched at the same time are very easy to tell but I dont know on theses lavenders
