I wish I could drive up there but it would end up being an all day trip for me and my 2 girls.
Was looking forward to meeting you both!
I hope someone post pics of the swap meet...
at the event?Southern dad...thanks! I will be looking forward to seeing them. Sure wish we could get a meet organized in NW ga (gordon county). I have 24 eggs in the brinsea...first time I ever used an incubator so not quite sure what to expect. Everything looks good so far except a little concerned about the humidity. I don't have a hygrometer in the bator but have one in the room (upstairs bath room that is rarely used) and it's ranging between 28-42%. Have a wood burning stove and that adds to the low humidity problem. I do keep water in the water channels in the bator...hope that's enough. I plan to fill both channels with water at lockdown and add strips of felt to wick it up. We are so anxious to get offspring from our ~General Lee~ who is 87.5% english orpington and our American standard pure breed orpington girls. We are breeding for bigger hens/eggs.Between my DD12 and myself we got a bunch of photos. I needed to edit them a bit, then rotate them all correctly. I'm working on uploading them to the local newspaper site and I'll link them here.
Here's some photos of the event. I'll also try and upload a gallery here. Were you Spottedat the event?
