YO GEORGIANS! :)

I loved it and I have a beautiful pair of game birds and some hatching eggs not sure who I bought the eggs from but one was marked BCM (something Maran) and the egg is dark brown with darker brown speckles, I candled the eggs to make sure the yolks are free flowing and they all look perfect now the question is can I wait a week to put my eggs in.

valleychicks did ya make it back yet? Did you find the owner of your hatching eggs? Oh my DH has decided he needs to make a better pen for his birds we picked up today, I've been asking for weeks and noooooo he hasn't the time but bring him a game pair home and where is he? I put Nelson and his girl in the grow out pen until he gets used to the new sounds and seeing the other birds. He started crowing and my other girls came running and big red (RIR) came a flapping his wings to let Nelson know those were his ladies, so they had their talk through the wire and now all is quiet. I had a laugh, I was worried that big red didn't grow any he never came out of the house and pen for a long time when we first got him but I see all is fine. His spurs are just starting to come in so he is still young.

So who is going to Savannah March 7th for that swap? Me,me,me I want to go, but don't know if I will make it

I had a Great time meeting everyone! I can't believe I sold all the chicks I brought. I found GAM and gave her the hatching eggs and bought a dozen of Flower's hatching eggs. I also want to know do I need to let the eggs rest now that I got them home, put them on the turner or go a head and put them in the incubator?

I hope Nelson and his new bride have a great life together. Tell your DH to get busy making that new pen!

I hope everyone stays warm and safe in the winter weather that's coming. I think I will be busy putting up plastic tomorrow to hopefully create a better wind barrier for the Game/EE pen.

I brought my two roosters up there but didn't want to set a bad example so i left them inside and one of my coworkers liked my bantam so much she took him home and he instantly fell in love with a little buff bantam and my other co worker was on her way out the door with my other rooster to take to her farm and the folks at Sweet Basil fell in love with him so he has been added to their breeding flock of Naked Necks at their farm. Successful day for everyone.
