YO GEORGIANS! :)

And another one bites the dust....

got another raccoon last night.

Have you lost any birds from your flock?

I've learned, it's better to stay ahead of the predator. This month I have caught a bobcat and an opossum. But I didn't get these predators until after I lost some hens to their attack.

We have lost several birds. But until I found out about the dog safe raccoon traps, we couldn't set anything but the live traps inside the fenced area. Now we have 4 of these DP traps in various places around the property inside the fence. We haven't seen any signs of bobcats around here. But coons and possums are plentiful.

Hey Valleychick, So glad to hear all is doing well! I got to see an ultrasound today, too! Our DD facetimed us and when we connected, the first thing we saw was the picture of our newly forming #6 grandbaby. This is her second baby, which will be due in /Sept, So, am very excited!

Spent hours today clearing the back road out of our drive. So many trees down! DH would cut and I would drag the stuff to the side of the drive until some later time. DH came and gave me a kiss right in the middle of it all and said how proud he was that I was such a stronge "mountain woman"! Not sure that is a compliment, but he said not many 63 years old women would/could do that. I actually prefer doing that kind of work out over going to a gym!!!

Been a long time since Ga had some good snow:) Great for the soil too. I hope everyone is staying cozy. Yall are gonna want a few minutes of this when Summer hits!

We ended up with 3" and an extra dusting overnight. It's beautiful!

It seems to be melting and I SO hope so.. If we can't get today's work done at work today, it goes to tomorrow which is supposed to be my half day!

Come on, sunshine!!
