Beautiful, flower! That system was POURING snow like i haven't seen in forever. Y'all's lower temps really latched on!

We have lost several birds. But until I found out about the dog safe raccoon traps, we couldn't set anything but the live traps inside the fenced area. Now we have 4 of these DP traps in various places around the property inside the fence. We haven't seen any signs of bobcats around here. But coons and possums are plentiful.

I need to catch some coons around our place but what should I use for bait?

We got sleet, snow, and then rain.

At work today. I put the kennel out where the cat is and he walked right up to it and started rubbing on it. I think he's gonna cooperate when I put food in there. He's really started to trust me and I just want him to have a warm, safe place to sleep and plenty of food.

If that means I end up with cat #3, so be it. lol

I need to catch some coons around our place but what should I use for bait?

Our two catches were with two different baits ... one was with chopped up fish from our pond and the other was a commercial raccoon bait.

Yes but canned cat/dog food will become rancid quickly and will have to be changed out regularly. I bought some bait called raccoon chum that got us our last coon.
