My girls liked the weather very much today! Got 24 eggs! During the snow week, was only getting 10-16 eggs! Too bad tomorrow is going to be yucky again!

So, put 6 eggs in lockdown in my new mini eco bator. Anxious to see how it works. Chicks due Saturday. Tomorrow is 'set' day for 59

eggs!!! Does anyone need any chicks? ducks?

We don't have renters this weekend, so if anyone wants to visit and get eggs or whatever, pm me.

My 14 hens in my main hen house have been giving between 8 to an even dozen a day. I have different breeds. Over in the Storybook coop where I have my Polish etc. I have 2 WC Blue Polish & 2 Tolbunt hens who give me 1-3 eggs a day.

Guys!! I got my MFD eggs!! Not ONE broken. THIS guy knows how to package some eggs!!

How did he do it? I did a science experiment back in middle school and tried many techniques. I am just curious to know which method he used.

I'm about to go crazy with my humidity in the hatcher.

Anyone else getting crazy-high readings?? And I don't think it's the hygrometer as it drops as soon as I take it out of the hatcher. But I just dumped all the water out, hand dried the base AND the screen, and it's still reading 60+%!

Yes I have had a hard time with the humidity, but it is very humid tonight hence rain, I have my ports all the way open and I'm still reading 60 I worried more about the temp the first 18 days and now I'm in lock down My humidity seems to be holding at 65 so I'm good with that and I candled my eggs and all seem to be alive.

Thanks. Hubby always stands and stars at the counter when I wash all my eggs for packaging. So many and all of the various colors are so pretty.

I love the egg colors, too! My girls are all different breeds for that purpose, too!

I can pick up the eggs for katsdar unless it's too early. Not sure if she's wanting eating or hatching.

If it is too early, I can pick them up one night next week.
