Well my 8 month old jack russell got my GiGi light brahma. It was too late. She had pulled her feathersout and ripped the skin on her back. My 8 year old sobbed. Its a sad night tonight. On the other hand I had to save some chickadee eggs. Blue birds have over taken the nest and shoved them to the back so now they are in the bator. I hope they hatch in 12 days. It will make me feel good.

So sorry and good luck with the bator eggs.

I just finished candling and 41 out of 42 are doing cartwheels in there. Not a bad fertility rate. The one egg that was clear was a pullet egg.

Congrats. I took my very first egg (green from an EE) and blew it out for a keepsake under a glass cupcake dome. Yup you know your in it bad when you do that lol.

Now get some clear shellac and put it on their so it will help protect the egg for that one day when it's being moved and it gets dropped, and at the top hole put some of her little feathers along with a decorative jewelry hole cover up-er have no idea what they are called and a ribbon and turn it into an ornament!!!
