I'm so mad, I thought I locked it tight I don't know what did it, there are some feathers in the yard but otherwise the chickens are just gone.

holy moly, when last night?

man that stinks

All of them? Oh my! Check for tracks, fur on wire, any evidence on bodies you might find..I tell my kids to suck it up and concentrate on anything that could help figure out what you're up against. Things happen, such is life and there are plenty here to help you start again after battening down the hatches

And hey, you have some pics to remember the good ones too.

I missed your post can you tell it again for the slow ones :D

No problem!
I have a couple of roosters I may try to re-home, a Rhode island red, a silver laced wyandotte, and a silver duckwing OEGB. I also have 6 silkies to rehome, in white, black and buff. Genders unknown!

Oh no! That really stinks! So sorry to hear of your loss.

@PapaChaz pretty sure I'll be on the schedule to work May 2. :( It hasn't been finalized yet, but I checked our appointment book and it is almost fully booked with prom girls. That means too busy for me to be off. I thought prom season would be over by then.
I'll have to try and make it to the next one.
Anywho, about the birds, the coop we are planning is 32sqft inside. It will be raised so extra run space in addition to the cattle panel run we will attach. Am I right in calculating that will house 10-12 birds? If so, the possible roos shoudn't be a space issue at all. Neighbors don't mind the roos. I asked just to make sure. I'm all about CYA.

I am so sorry! Could it have been a fox? They are sneaky little buggers and normally take the chickens and leave no evidence.
