YO GEORGIANS! :)

Ugh.. I have Got. To. Stop.

I was down to two trays.. Today's hatch, which is a dozen eggs, split 50/50 between brahmas and olives.. Then next weekend will be my less-than-half fertile shipped MFD plus a few others from my flock. That was gonna be IT.

BUTTTTT... Then I took a partial trade on my incubator for some lav orp eggs.

Sigh.... I have chicks EVERYWHERE! I'm not sure I could GIVE them away! And I'm not too far from being desperate enough!!

Lesson learned for next year.. Either hatch on order only, or shut it down after easter..

How many chicks do you have, do you think? I only have about 12 that still need to find homes. I am keeping about 8 to grow out for a bit. Then, some of those might go. All of the ones hatching now are the bankers. Then I have some CCL from Rocky and those shouldn't be hard to sell (if they are girls!) And then, my Lavender Ameraucanas will be hatching and I may keep a bunch of those and sell LAs next year!

I also don't mind growing out the females. There are tons of people looking for laying hens, so I can sell them later.....especially in the fall when it is so hard for people to find laying hens that people are willing to sell.

Oh southeast corner people!!!!!!! I just found 7 Pilgrim geese for 80 bucks in Rincon. 2 pairs of juveniles and a trio of adults. Who's in charge of the underground chicken railroad scheduling?

Crap! 4 hours is too far for me to help. That and my railroad scheduling won't be available again until 4th of July weekend

Anyone want to help me find this pup a home? She is from a litter of eight that I rescued off of the side of a road at three weeks old. She is 7 months now, and I can't seem to find this last pup a home, and I honestly don't know why! She is perfectly potty trained, and will pretty much do any command if you have a treat, gets along great with kids and most dogs. Doesn't really like big men because one mistreated her once. Landlord said she has to go because his son's dog attacked her, and she "showed aggression" by defending herself, while in leash...
Landlord wants her gone by next weekend...

Yeah, this is a long one. Might take a couple of relays.

yeah I have seen posts on CL people looking for POL hens. You'll be able to get a little more for them too, but it probably won't wash out because you'll have to feed them for a few months.

I will take a couple olive eggers when you get to the point of wanting to give some away,
