YO GEORGIANS! :)

How young IS your roo? I ask because I've seen a few who I thought were too young to care about all that but they surprised me, lol.

Ms. Gabby is 20wks old, still not laying eggs but I still love her! Her sister Lily started last week though!

She will start soon, I love RIR's too
I need some help here........
My JG hen is missing feathers from the top of her head, and the surrounding feathers look a bit raggedy. I've been checking for lice/mites, and haven't seen a thing! She's not molting, the rest of her feathers look great, and only one other hen is looking a bit raggedy up top. The little roo I have is still a little guy, so no weird lovin going on. Any thoughts?
either he is trying and not getting the hang of it or your girls are trying to reorder the pecking order, but I'd say your boy is doing funny stuff

I know they eat bugs and all that, but eeeeewww! One of the girls got a hold of a locust, I thought it was already dead. But I guess it wasn't & she must've got him good because she ran past me and it's gooey guts were coming out. LOL looked like wood glue. Then all the others gave chase. It was pretty funny to watch. They sure are happy when they are outside!

I wish I could free range my girls, seriously thinking about selling the home or renting it out and moving to the country!

YES! I did find my camera. It was buried, just not in the flower box LOL. I just got finished uploading a few photos. The run, waiting for the husband to find the time to sink the posts. He works a million hours a week and that leaves him too exhausted to do anything else but sleep. Today was his only day off. I ain't digging no post holes. A girl's gotta have her limits. I draw the line at digging posts, using a lawn mower and taking out trash. BUT, in his defense, I opted to babysit for a friend today. Basically, I got paid to hang out at their pool with three of the coolest kids on the planet. Here's my favorite photo so far:

I don't think they're "free range? They're going to be in an enclosed run, but it's not built yet. Their coop is inside a small fenced area that's about 25'x25'. I let them out for a bit so I could take some photos.
